Who
we are
Patagonia Horse Trips began with one idea: to cross this country the way the baqueanos have crossed it for generations. On horseback, with time, and with respect for a land that does not forgive haste.
We do not run rides to see places. We build whole journeys, so that you live Patagonia from the inside — days in the saddle, nights around the fire, and a way of travelling where what is real matters more than what is quick.
Six riders, never sixteen. Ten departures in a season, and no more. Every saddle checked by hand before it goes on a horse. And the people riding beside you have known this country for decades, because it is the country they grew up in.
Someone decided all of this.
Our philosophy
The best way to know Patagonia is not to try to see all of it.
It is to stop long enough to understand it.
That is why we work only with small groups, and why we would rather do fewer things and do them well. Twenty horses, so that no horse carries a rider more than once a month. A farrier and a vet every month.
Our philosophy has not changed since the first season: build journeys where you can let go of the logistics, trust the people riding beside you, and give your whole attention to the country.
The rarest thing is not doing more. It is having the time to take each day as it comes, to cross this country at your own pace, and to go home having known a Patagonia that very few people ever reach.
Many of our riders come alone. It costs nothing extra, and nobody is seated apart.
Why travel with us
What
we decided
Small Groups
Never more than six riders. Ten departures in a season.
Personally Guided
Your guide eats at your table and sleeps in the same lodge. The horse beneath you was chosen by Osvaldo, and so was the saddle.
The Horses
Twenty horses, all ours. No horse works more than once a month. One walks with us on every journey, carrying no one.
All-Inclusive
From the moment you land: every bed, every meal, your horse, your guide, transport, and the park. Only the flights are yours.
Somewhere in Patagonia,
a horse is already waiting.
You just have to arrive.
